I was introduced to Monte by my father-in-law in March of 2001. On April 25, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at Dave's on Dickson, I witnessed the guitar wizard in person for the first time. I didn't know any of the songs but they touched me in a familiar way. In the last six months I have listened to almost nothing but Monte, and was lucky enough to see him again this October. I have turned into a hopeless Montiac. The purpose of this site is to help others find out about the phenomena that is Monte Montgomery. If you want someone to discover Monte, send them here.
